Molly Maguire is a 4th generation San Franciscan with deep Irish-American roots and family connections who include bricklayers, police officers, bakers, and postal workers—to mention a few! Her brother Owen is a teacher at Saint Ignatius, and Patrick a commercial ship captain currently working with the U.S. military to bring food aid to Gaza. Molly is the artsy one with a degree in music and a career in the esoteric. Officially a member of the UICC since February 2024, Molly is delighted to join the community and share some of her work with us.
Molly Maguire is pleased to announce an inaugural monthly women’s spiritual circle to explore ancient Irish mysticism and ceremony! Specifically crafted to support women, themes will relate to the Wheel of the Year, like Beltaine, and Winter Solstice, and be grounded by Irish Goddesses, and traditional rites, journeys, and ceremonies that have been passed down by women for generations.
The first Moon Mná Circle is Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 6-8 pm, continuing the third Wednesday eve of each month. Space is limited, so sign up today!
For the first gathering we will explore ancient practices that will appear in our monthly meetings throughout the year. While it is not necessary to attend all the themes, the first one is recommended if you can make it! Circle size is limited, so be sure to sign up early.
Themes vary each week. Upcoming themes include—Journey to the Energetic Cauldron of the Womb; Crone Rites of the Cailleach; and Goddess Boann’s Crafting and Storytelling
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Molly Maguire is a proud member of the UICC. She fills the position of Resident Shaman at the Healing Arts Center & Spa at Cavallo Point in Sausalito. Her shamanic energy medicine is informed by her studies with Jon Rasmussen, and Alberto Villoldo of The Four Winds Society, from where she holds a Masters Certification. She has studied at Esalen Institute, the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), and received initiations from the Q’ero in the Sacred Valley of Peru. She has also studied with Karen Ward of the Slí An Chroí School of Celtic Shamanism in Dublin and is a certified Moon Mná Women’s Circle facilitator. Molly has offered session and ceremonial work for companies such as Canyon Ranch, Google, IONS, as well as to White House staff.
