A Collective Layer of Interior And Exterior Challenges - Anne Cassidy Carew, UICC Board Member As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction. On October 26th, the United Irish Cultural Center had its general meeting...
Our vision for the United Irish Cultural Center is to expand Irish Cultural activities, and to engage a new generation in the spirit of being Irish in San Francisco. We want to create and foster our sense of community by providing a space for other Irish organizations, as well as Irish and Irish/American writers, musicians, athletes, storytellers, and entrepreneurs.
We also envision improving our space by creating better, more versatile rooms for meetings and lectures, installing Audio Visual/Networking equipment, and installing the fastest internet connection on the west side of San Francisco. We also would like to dream about a new building that would include community meeting rooms, offices, performing arts space, library, history museum, exercise studio, and lecture hall.
But we need your help to make this vision a reality. With your generous tax-deductible contribution to the Center, we can develop and promote Irish exceptionalism for our children and future generations of Irish Americans here in San Francisco.
