The Ground Floor
Saint Francis Room, Members’ Room, Emerald Room, The Pub , and the Patrick J. Dowling Library are located.
Wawona Gates is on the same level, but outdoors. A large catering kitchen and restrooms are accessible nearby, as well as the UICC Offices. ADA access is available from the Elevator through the Parking Lot Entrance on Wawona Street, and also at the Main Entrance on 45th Avenue.
The Second Floor
Saint Patrick Room: The Saint Patrick Room fills the Second Floor and can be rented as a whole or sub-divided via a partitioned wall into two separate spaces: Saint Patrick 2 (dance floor, main bar) and Saint Patrick 3 (stage, dance floor, small bar). A coat check room, large catering kitchen, elevator, and restrooms are easily accessible nearby.

UICC Venues
Ballroom: St Patrick’s Room
Named after the Patron Saint of Ireland, this is our largest room located on the 2nd floor and can be accessed by 3 entrances including an elevator. This 6000 square foot room is the perfect setting for grand scale receptions and events. It features vaulted ceilings with stunning handcrafted woodwork, stage, large projection screen, two bars and a 3000 square foot parquet dance floor. Located on the Second Floor with a seated capacity of 400 with round tables and 700 theater style . It can also be subdivided into two smaller spaces.
St. Francis Room
Wawona Gates
The Wawona Gates is a wonderful private parking lot conversion featuring a custom-built bar inside a shipping container with two keg capability and a 192 square foot stage. Traditional folding tables and chairs are available for event use in Wawona Gates, but European Beer Garden style tables and benches with vibrant red umbrellas are also an option for this particular space.
Members Room
Located on the 1st floor, wheelchair accessible, the Members’ Room is warm and charming. Wood paneling and ceiling, and a historic Irish Castle facade fireplace make The Members’ Room unique among the event spaces available at the UICC. The Members’ Room measures 700 square feet, has a seated capacity of up to 60 people theater style and 40 people at round tables. It’s located on the Ground Floor.
The Members’ Room can also be rented in conjunction with The Emerald Room and Pub.
Emerald Room and Pub
Located on the main, ground floor, accessible by three entrances. The Emerald Room features classic polished wooden trim and coffered wooden ceilings throughout, and is directly accessible from The Pub. At 770 square feet, The Emerald Room seats up to 63 people in round tables and up to 70 at oblong tables, and is located on the Ground Floor. It can be rented in combination with The Members Room. The Pub features its own stage, a 180 square foot parquet dance floor, barstools and pub seating. Artisan-etched historic scenes decorate the back bar, and wood paneling throughout gives The Pub the warmth of a traditional Irish pub. Our Pub seating can accommodate 17 to 20 guests

The addition of a dance floor will decrease these numbers. The square footage of the entire St. Patrick’s room is 7,060. The square footage of the stage is 384.
About the Space
St. Patrick’s I room capacity for a sit down diner with all round tables is 370; with a buffet with round tables is 320. Capacity with long tables used is 560 for a sit down dinner and 500 with a buffet.

St Francis Room:
Located on the 1st floor with a capacity of 140, theatre style. The St. Francis Room has its own street entrance, beautiful coffered ceiling with carved wooden trim, projection screen, attached optional bar, grand piano, direct access to the Patrick J. Dowling Library and a 464 square foot parquet dance floor. Located on the Ground Floor it measures 1360 square feet, and has a seated capacity of 81 with round tables and 110 theater style.

The Members Room is located on the Main, Ground floor and is accessed by three entrances. The room may be booked far private events of 40 or more persons. Capacity of Members Room is 60 persons depending on the arrangement of tables and chairs.
Emerald Room & Pub:
Room Style
Private conference room for smaller meetings and events.
Layout
Table, chair and A/V configurations can be easily matched to your needs.
Located on the 1st floor, The Pub can up to 40 people. Perfect to host small seminars and meetings.
About the Space
The Emerald Room is located on the main, ground floor and is accessed by three entrances. The room may be booked for private events of 40 or more people. The capacity of either round or long tables is 70.
The main dinning area for the former restaurant has been the heart of the UICC since it opened. Functional layout, hosting everything from dinning to dancing to small shows & concerts.
Wawona Gates:
The Wawona Gates is a wonderful private parking lot conversion featuring a custom-built bar inside a shipping container with two keg capability and a 192 square foot stage. Traditional folding tables and chairs are available for event use in Wawona Gates, but European Beer Garden style tables and benches with vibrant red umbrellas are also an option for this particular space.

Table, chair and A/V configurations can be easily matched to your needs. Outdoor stage fit for small band, DJ and/or your favorite Irish Dancers.
Wawona Gates was born out of necessity in 2020, but quickly became a trademark of the new Irish Center. Festive & Fun are words to describe the gatherings. We hope to see you “…at the Gates” very soon!
About the Space
Wawona Gates area features a full mobile bar, ample seating area, dance floor and a stage. This space can meet the needs of customers looking to create a festive atmosphere.
