The Underground International Cinema Festival from Dublin, Ireland is premiering online globally my directorial debut short documentary film, a Gazan and US collaborative production:

This multi year long project has been a joint production between Gazan and US artists and media makers to shine a light on the warning Jimmy Carter gave to the world back in 2009 and his call for help for the Palestinian people. Despite Carter’s visit to Gaza, his book Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid and book tour, US President Jimmy Carter got silenced but not forgotten. With interviews of artists in Gaza and those displaced, it’s a call for peace and justice.

Dr. Mustafa Barghouti wrote in Al Jazeera last year that to honor Carter, amplify his call for freedom in Palestine. As Palestinian farmers in the West Bank create memorial olive groves in Carter’s memory, we feel it’s our duty to ensure Carter’s legacy and courage are remembered with footage that was found deep in the media archival vaults.
