50 Years—A Photo Retrospective
In celebration of our 50th anniversary, a special photo presentation was put together consisting of some never-seen-before images from the Patrick J Dowling photography collection. The slideshow was first shown at the Golden Gala in August 2025.
Special thank you to our 50th Anniversary co-chairs Kathleen Dowling McDonough and Anne Cassidy Carew for their leadership in putting together such a special event. Thank you also to Patricia Dowling who worked tirelessly digitizing her father‘s collection.
We are grateful for these reminders of our early days and energized by the commitment and energy of our founders as we build for the future.
From the moment this center became a dream, countless community members contributed their time, talent, and treasure to make our Irish center every reality. Perhaps you or someone you know, played a role in some aspect of the planning for, the building of, or the designing of some aspect, big or small, of the center. For five decades, our story has continued to evolve and progress, and you may hold the memory of a key moment throughout the years.
