Dear Members,
My wife, Stephanie, and I were delighted to join some of our other Members on the San Francisco Cork Sister City Mission with Mayor Ed Lee in September. Some photos of that wonderful visit are included, and I’ve brought back some great connections for the Center to share with our team.
There is lots going on at our Center, and you will begin to notice subtle and steady improvements to our facilities, our service level, as well as our menu options in our Restaurant and Banquets.
As mentioned in our last Newsletter, Robert Sparks has started his role in the new position of Executive Director, and he and our wonderful staff are making changes that will improve our member experience steadily here at the Center.
This month, Robert and I also paid a visit to the Irish Consulate to introduce him to our new Consul General, Robert O’Driscoll, and new Vice Consul, John Callahan, pictured in the photo with Robert and me. They also came to the Center (Robert’s 3rd visit in a month), with Robert’s wife Caoimhe to be introduced to our entire Board, during a beautifully presented dinner organized by Robert, Teresa Moore, our Chef Paul Lara, and head server Eileen Loftus.
