For 45 years, the Irish Center in San Francisco has hosted an array of guests: 3 Irish presidents, multiple Taoisigh, authors, comedians, and hundreds of entertainers and celebrated weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and wakes. We’ve had céilís , Irish language, piper and dance classes with our incredible partners. In our library you will find exceptional treasures such as The Leader newspaper, The Irish News (1872-73, 1892-4), SF Fireman’s Journal & Military Gazette (1855-1859) to name a few.
Our 2020–45 years on 45th Ave–strategic plan is to expand our cultural programming, engage younger members, and update the 45 year old building. We need your help to implement our PLAN.
