The Noble Call: Christmas Time in Ireland
December 6 @ 7:00 pm
The Noble Call Christmas show takes audiences back to the ‘hearth’ of an Irish Christmas, filled with songs, stories, rousing music and traditional Irish dancing. The Noble Call is that age-old Irish tradition, where, in the ‘wee’ small hours of the morning when everyone gets a chance to sing a song or tell a story. This Noble Call tradition is very popular at Christmas time in Ireland, as family’s gather together, to welcome home their sons and daughters from distant shores and to share in the festivities. And no better way to do that than through music! Lead by one of Ireland’s foremost traditional Irish Tenors- Paddy Homan, musicians Mick Broderick on Bozouki and Dave Curley on Guitar, Banjo and Vocals, from the Band, SLIDE. With Homan hailing from Cork City, Broderick from Dublin and Curley from Galway, the ‘banter’ and fun is always high! There will be many special guests and dancers for what promises to be an incredible night of music, song and dance.
“The Noble Call is something a lot of people have been waiting for a long time to hear. Joined by Mick Broderick and a group of superior musicians, Paddy Homan sings his way through the best of real Irish music in a total package. Really, this group has everything. Best of all, they really know how to deliver in a concert. The Noble Call is here, and we hear them calling! Wow!”
