Celtic Culture at the UICC

June 3, 2017 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

The works of James Joyce

James Joyce, Irish novelist, short story writer, and poet is the subject of June’s Celtic Culture event at the UICC. Undoubtedly one of the most influential writers of the 20th Century, this talk/conversation has much to choose from, from his great works like The Dubliners, Finnegan’s Wake and the often impenetrable Ulysses, through his poetry and songs. Join us on the day to find out more, perhaps even spread your own knowledge and love of his work. We offer tea or coffee on the day at what is like an extended conversation rather than a lecture. Donations of $5 on the day are always appreciated. Donagh McKeown is MC/Coordinator on the day
