A Place for All Things Irish

July 8 @ 2:30 pm

Event Navigation

Last year the Patrick J. Dowling library at the Irish Center received a copy of the program from the Irish Fair of 1898 – It was very exciting since according to the online catalog World Cat there are only two other programs in libraries throughout the world. The purpose of the Irish Fair was to raise money for the construction of an Irish hall.

On July 8 at 2:30 pm at the Center, please join the Irish Marvels, Past & Present for a presentation by Valerie McGrew about the Irish societies in San Francisco at the turn of the (20th) century and their efforts to build an Irish Center, A Place for All Things Irish
